The Historic Indiana First Jurisdiction acknowledges, with solemn reverence and grateful remembrance,
the earthly transition of Elder Robert E. Jackson on December 23, 2025.
Elder Jackson was a steward of order, a voice of counsel, and a builder within this Jurisdiction.
His service strengthened our ministerial fellowship, upheld protocol, and advanced the work of the
Kingdom with integrity and conviction. We honor his faithful labor, his leadership among pastors and
elders, and his enduring commitment to the Church of God in Christ.
Robert has been a member of the USS Indianapolis since 2020. He served as the ship’s Chaplain.
Robert was very active in his church. Robert was a member of the Indiana National Guard where he
served as a Chaplain. Robert was a good friend to many. He will be missed, RIP my friend.
